I can't believe the summer is over. Well, I shouldn't complain. I had a great summer and I hope everyone did as well. As most of you know, I love photography and I am an avid traveler. This summer was special as I was able able to travel with my mother and niece to Rome, Madrid, and Paris. It was a great traveling experience and family time with three generations. We were able to see Pope Francis on two occasions on St. Peter's Square and my niece was amazed with the Roman Forum and Coliseum. But her favorite part was standing in front of the Eiffel tower. After spending one month with my family I took some time for me to enjoy Perú and Argentina. I totally loved climbing to Machu Picchu and walking around the old streets of Cusco, the Inca capital. Buenos Aires really has a charming French architecture and is very clean and European.
However, Cusco and the Inca heartland was my favorite place. Definitely, I want to go back to Cusco to enjoy more about the Incas and their culture.
I think that my batteries are fully recharged and, I hope, yours are as well.
I am beginning my third year here at VECHS and I will continue advising the Photography club. I am looking forward to see everyone's summer photos.
I am really excited about beginning the school year at Victory Early College and am looking forward to working with all my Vikings! So, see you on the 22th!! Don't be late!!
